1. How far are you from Main Street shopping?

Sweet Escape – 1 block to Main St. and .6 miles to Marketplatz (center of town)

Sage Haus- 1 block S. of Main St. and one block from Sweet Escape 

2. Are your homes and hot tubs private?

Each of our properties are private homes

Sweet Escape and Sage Haus have private hot tubs and fire pits (no shared house walls, patios or hot tubs with other guests.) 

Both houses have propane or charcoal grills

We seek to give you a true Escape to Fredericksburg (and away from the crowds or neighboring guests).

3. Do you allow parties or events?

We allow Bachelorette Parties and Wedding Parties up to the guest limit. The city prohibits events at homes. We do not allow rehearsal dinners, bachelorette parties or other events where additional guests are invited over the occupancy limit.

For budget friendly options, catch a shuttle at 308 S. Washington St. – one block south of Main St. This shuttle takes you to 19 wineries that are all on 290.  You can sign up and pay online HERE.

5. What time is check-in and check-out?

Check is at 4 PM, and Check-out is at 10 AM. 

Ask for early check-in or check-out 1 day before your stay, and the Host will let you know if available!

6. Are there check out instructions?

Please clean your dishes and clean out the refrigerator before you leave. If you use a pull-out couch, please strip the sheets so we know it was used. We are pleased to do the rest!
